Hi, I'm Natalie!
I'm currently a family and education editorial fellow at the Atlantic. I'm a recent graduate from Northwestern University, where I majored in journalism and Latinx studies.
In the past, I have been an Emerging Reporter with ProPublica Illinois and interned for Smithsonian Magazine, The Bump with the American Society of Magazine Editors' internship program and produced pieces for WBEZ's StoryCorps program. My writing about Latinx issues, education policy and race relations has been featured in publications like Chicago Magazine, UPI, the New York Daily News and US News and World Report. In my spare time, I love making zines, hanging out with trees and re-reading Sandra Cisneros.
